At the bookstore

The youngster and I often go to Harry W. Schwartz Bookshops on Oakland Ave. to visit the fake dogs. He shrieks in delight when he sees them and demands to pet every one.

It also has a 3-D Goodnight Moon room .

For months I did a double-take whenever I saw those dogs.
Condolences on the MKE contest. You and I are fellow losers now.
By the way, if you've been hit by spam comments--they've been really active on my blog lately--then you can delete them forever in addition to removing them (check the little box).
Yes, I am a victim of the spambot. Thanks for the tip; that was my first time deleting comments.
(The spambot leaves phoney praise and directs you to a website. Apparently by following the link you help the spammers in their quest for world domination. The spambot also seems to be inflating the number of hits I get. Yesterday about twice as many people visited the site than usual, except that most of them weren't people.
Do I sound very naïve? I didn't know about this stuff until yesterday.)
